In compliance with applicable data protection regulations, we inform you that at Colonial we process the personal data that you provide us, through the contact channels enabled to respond to the request for information that the user has made.
3. How long will we retain your personal data?
Colonial undertakes to process your personal data for as long as it is truly useful and necessary to be able to respond to the request you have made and, in any case, as long as you do not request its deletion. For this reason, Colonial will make all reasonable efforts to minimize the processing and storage period of your personal data.
In any case, and even if you request the deletion of your personal data, Colonial will have the right to retain and maintain them, under proper locking, for the period necessary to comply with the corresponding legal obligations, as well as to make them available to the competent authorities in the different matters that are applicable.
4. What is the legitimacy for the processing of your personal data?
The legal basis for the purpose of processing is the consent given by you.
5. To which recipients will your personal data be communicated?
Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except to public bodies and authorities (administrative or judicial) in those cases where a legal provision so establishes, to suppliers whose intervention is necessary for the correct provision of our services, or to other entities that make up the Colonial Group (e.g. Utopicus) when you are the recipient of a commercial request.
6. What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data and how can you exercise them?
At any time, you have the right to access your personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
In certain circumstances, you may request that we restrict the processing of your data, in which case we will only retain it for the exercise or defence of claims. In certain circumstances and for reasons relating to your particular situation, you may object to the processing of your data.
Colonial will stop processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defense of possible claims.
You may also exercise your right to data portability and withdraw any consents you have given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
